WE BURNED LESS THAN 10 GALLONS AND REDEFINED WHAT A 32-FOOTER CAN DO
We left New York in a narrow weather window—ice on the roads, snow in the forecast. After a quick stop in North Carolina to check in with our builders and vendors, we landed in Florida ready to test.
This wasn’t a demo. It was a shakedown.
With our electric powertrain out for upgrade—replaced soon by next-gen batteries and engines—we rigged the HYFOIL 32 with twin 150HP gas outboards, fed by 12-gallon external fuel bags. We loaded 30-gallon ballast bags to simulate real-world weight and ran it through everything the day could throw at us: glassy flats, tight channels, heavy chop, and the infamous Haulover Inlet (see the clip on Instagram or clip on YouTube).
The HYFOIL 32 didn’t flinch. It tracked like it was on rails—level, fast, and dry—even when the water got confused.
We tested multiple load profiles, simulating everything from light trim to full gas tanks to a battery-electric setup with six passengers. We logged speed, RPM, and fuel burn. Across every scenario, the message was clear: speed, efficiency, and control.
We also made time for the Miami Boat Show, where we connected with top innovators, industry insiders, current and future partners. The response confirmed what we already knew: HYFOIL is delivering the kind of performance the market’s been waiting for. It's part of a growing movement toward smarter, more sustainable power on the water.
WHY EFFICIENCY MATTERS
We ran two full days of hard testing—and burned less than 10 gallons per day.
The HYFOIL 32 gets 3.6 MPG at 35 mph. Most boats this size get just 1 to 2 MPG. The HYFOIL 32 is up to three times more efficient.
Over a typical year of use (about 100 hours), that efficiency really adds up:
Even a single 3-hour trip can cut over 1,100 pounds of CO₂—about the same as planting 40+ trees.
So not only do you burn less fuel—you ride cleaner, quieter, smoother, and stay dry, even when conditions are messy.
Less fuel. Lower emissions. A smoother ride—and a lighter wake on the planet.
WHAT'S NEXT
This test wasn’t the finish line—it was the starting gun.
We’re preparing to launch another HYFOIL model and are developing a new hull appendage to reduce drag for single-engine configurations. It’s all part of our ongoing mission to optimize performance across every application.
We’re grateful for the momentum and support we’ve received—and if you haven’t experienced a HYFOIL ride yet, we’d love to show you why it’s not just different. It’s better.
Whether you're thinking about efficiency, ride comfort, or real environmental impact—this is the boat that changes the game.
